See Agrodome’s world famous farm sheep show and also experience the Farm Tour on a working sheep and beef farm, set over 160 hectares in an all-weather, all-terrain vehicle.
At the farm show you’ll be introduced to 19 breeds of sheep; witness a live sheep shearing demonstration and even have the chance to bid on a sheep in the live auction as well as see the dogs ability to respond to commands and keep those sheep in line! You can even jump up on stage for the opportunity to feed the lambs or even hand-milk a cow! When it’s all over inside, head outside to observe the talent of a Strong Eye dog in a live dog trial with three sheep, or pop into the Woollen Mill to take in the history of the wool industry.
On the Farm Tour, you’ll get a hands-on experience with many exciting close encounters…. you’ll meet animals of all descriptions, including Romney sheep, beef cattle, red and fallow deer, llamas, alpacas, ostrich and emus.
During the Farm Tour, you will also visit the feijoa, blueberry, olive and kiwifruit orchard with a stop at the Organic Education Centre for kiwifruit juice and honey tasting.

- Agrodome is open 7-days a week, 9am – 5pm
- Shows start at 9.30, 11am and 2.30pm
