3D Trick Art Gallery is the first of its kind in New Zealand, and right at home in the tourist mecca of Rotorua. Grab your camera and put yourself right in the life-size, hyper-realistic murals inspired by New Zealand’s nature and lifestyle. Stop a shark attack, cross a raging waterfall, become the Mona Lisa or an All Black! Work that imagination and create some epic photos to share with your mates.
The 3D Trick Art gallery suits every age, from toddlers sitting in a dinosaur nest, to Nanna being attacked by a giant octopus, so go along and enjoy the hours of fun and laughter.
On arrival, the friendly team at the gallery will show you how to pose in each clever scenario, and you’ll find marks on the floor indicating the optimal place to stand while striking a pose. Make sure your phone or camera is fully charged before you go in – you’ll need all that battery life. There’s also an opportunity to submit your best photo by tagging it with #3dtrickart to win, and get your face on their wall of fame.
The Gallery is open every day from 9am to 5pm. Children are aged 5-12 years old. Children under 5 years are free.
