  • Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Valley

Thousands of years in the making , nestled within a natural bush setting, walks through this unique volcanic area take between 30 and 75 minutes. The Lady Knox Geyser erupts daily at 10.15am to heights of up to 20 metres. Features include the world famous Champagne Pool and Primrose Terrace together with hot springs, steaming ground, expansive vistas and huge volcanic craters. The constant bubbling activity at the nearby Mud Pool adds to your experience at New Zealand’s most colorful volcanic attraction.




  •  Waimangu Volcanic Valley

Amazing geothermal features in the World’s newest geothermal system. See awesome Frying Pan Lake which is the world’s largest hot spring. See the mysterious blue inferno Crater Lake which rises and falls. Walk through beautiful native forest. This is an unspoilt scenic reserve and wildlife refuge and multi Eco Tourism award winner.




  •  Paradise Valley Springs

See the mightly lion pride get fed each day at 2.30pm. Get up close to friendly farm animals such as Alpacas, Goats and Sheep to name but a few on the lively farm walk. You can also see Trout in the stream and spot native New Zealand birds such as waterfowl on wetlands and native alpine parrots, the Kea. Visitors can also interact with a variety of wildlife such as Deer, Pigs, Thar and Wallabies which may be hand fed.




  •  Rainbow Springs

Set in acres of beautiful native trees and streams, Rainbow Springs is home to a huge variety of New Zealand’s most precious inhabitants. You can even get right up close to the rare Kiwi! You will also be able to explore the many free flight aviaries, see prehistoric Tuatara, talk to Jenny the hand-reared kea, feed the largest wild trout you will ever see. Experience the wonder of the live bird show (11:30 daily) featuring some of the funniest feathered performers.  Don’t miss the adrenaline rush of the Big Splash water ride either! This will take you on a journey through the ecological evolution of New Zealand.


  •  Skyline Skyrides

Enjoy spectacular views of Rotorua in an eight-seater gondola cabin as you take a gentle, scenic 900 metre ride to the top of Mt Ngongataha. On arrival at Skyline Rotorua, relax and take in the 180 degree panorama.

Other exciting options at Skyline Rotorua include the thrilling Skyswing, a 4D Skyvue ride and the world famous Luge back down Mt Ngongataha! There’s also a fully licensed restaurant serving delicious buffet lunches and dinners, with a Cafe also on-site.
