School Holidays are Nearly Here!

Or maybe your kids are younger and you need a little less thrill seeking.  In that case the perfect holiday could include a visit to the Agrodome where the kids can get up close with farm animals, including feeding lambs or hand milking cows.

Paradise Valley is another great place to take young children.  Birds, trout and wildlife in a beautiful scenic setting, and if you time it right you can even pat a Lion Cub.

Similarly beautiful is Rainbow springs.  22 acres of native trees and streams inhabiting a huge variety of wildlife, including a Kiwi conservation centre.  Here you can also experience the awesome Big Splash water ride which takes a journey through the ecological evolution of New Zealand – with a thrilling end!

The Skyline Gondola and luge is an activity for all ages.  As the Gondola climbs up Mount Ngongotaha you will enjoy breath-taking views of Lake Rotorua.  At the top you can enjoy a yummy buffet meal with panoramic views of the lake or race back down on the famous Luge.  Even young ones can enjoy the luge with their mum or dad as the driver!
